You must know and understand that the battle front within mankind and our teens, is of a spiritual nature as with a carnal nature and must be fought on a spiritual level first, then naturally! No human fleshy effort and or understanding can or will ever win or bring this battle to a conclusion. You will always lose to the master of deceptions, Satan. Humans fight and war against each other on a fleshy prideful level and very rarely dig into the spiritual aspect of the inner man (Your first person), to resolve the issues that confront human nature. (Teens are very good at personal confrontations of a fleshy nature with each other, but very seldom ever think about the inner person of their spirit and soul. Most of the teens today live entirely for lustful and fleshy gratifications that lead them away from the inner man and into the woes of pride and the failures of shame.)

There is a stealthy silent enemy that wants to destroy you, but my desire is to give you spiritual insight, in how to win this battle that rages inside of you in good and evil!

The heart of understanding your enemy Satan, is in the understanding of what the destructive tools used by Satan are, these can be found in these two following verses Of scripture, Gen 3:6 and 1John 2:16.
Gen_3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was #good for food, and that it was +pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to *be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
1Jn_2:16 For all that is in the world, #the lust of the flesh, and +the lust of the eyes, and *the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. Who is the father? See John 4:23,24.
These two verse of Gen 3:6 and 1John 2:16 produce the product of three verses, Gen 2:17, Gen 6:12 and Gen 8:21, in good and evil. The descriptive symbolical way in which Jesus explains the two products (Good and evil) of Gen 2:17, are in that of Matthew 7:13-20 and Matthew 12:33.

gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. There are some of you that do not believe in the original sin, so when reading and understanding this counseling information on your teen, you must consider the following. These next three scriptures may change the minds of those that do not believe in the original sin. These three scriptures certainly pass the smell test of the origins and the development of original sin. Good and evil entered mankind because of Gen 2:17 and brought death to the flesh, in spirit, body, mind and soul, Gen 6:12 seeding soul (earth is the symbol of the heart’s soil of Matt 13:5,7,8. see also Matt 7:19), Gen 8:21, found in our youth.
To watch a child lose his or her identity for gain, as did Michael Jackson did, and sit back and see such a person crash and burn into drugs or self abuse, trying to find who they are in these false carnal measures, is a travesty against society and the church. To sit back and watch a teen such as Justin Bieber (There are many like this) that does not understand the tumultuous war of the teen cycle, and end up loosing or damaging a promising future, by spinning out of control because he or she does not understand their self, is, also a travesty against society and the church. I put the first blame on the church, because it should both know and understand these things I have written about in human nature and the sin by within.
A counselor must understand how the human created nature functions body and mind, soul and spirit, according to the teaching of the scriptures and mankind;s created order.
A). Recognize the gender differences. (Boys and Girls that are hardwired differently, one must take this into account when dealing with teens.
B). Understand that boys are more logical and ego centered and controlling, while girls are more socially centered and caring, sharing . (There are Exceptions!) Girls will work together and cooperate, more than boys will. However, boys are more prone to mischief and will gather and or conspire to do so.
C). Because teens are going through a dangerous transition period it makes them very fragile and mentally touchy when questioned during this period. We must be careful as to what we may say to them, because once you have said something negative to them you cannot take it back. You will lose their trust and confidence they have put in you from early childhood.
What do teens need and want. (How do they function creatively.)
(1) Teens like to experiment explore by using their new adult mind, bodies and thinking, in certain actions and in at times misuse of bodies.
We must direct that curiosity and teen arousal, in ways that will mature them positively, by the exploration of the knowledge of good and evil within them, by insuring that they understand the difference of good and evil properly.
(2) Teens need to be listened to and understood.
(3) Teens are testing their new found adult wings. (Understand this of them)
(4) Teens want to be treated as an adult. (Treat them as such, but with wisdom in your judgments, by understanding that they may shift back and forth from the child mind to the adult mind in this transition period, which may seem confusing to the parent by their behavior and misunderstood by the teen, not knowing or understanding the dangers of this transition period they are experiencing.)
(5) Teens want to be accepted as an adult. (Treat them as such. You may find them trying to and or wanting to engage in full adult conversations with adults. Let them in, but be wise with them when engaging them, by remembering that they are in a transition period and keeping in your mind that they are changing in their minds and emotions into the adult levels. They may seem immature or unreasonable in their conversations, but be patient with them, cut them some slack.)
(6) Teens want to belong to something. Find ways to give them a sense of belonging, without the control of the parent or guardians mind being a dictator over them. If you show signs of dictatorship over them, you will lose them. You must remember that they are an adult now, testing their new adult wings, not your little baby that needs constant care and direction from you, and or advice! Use your experience as an adult, by looking back at your life and or others, then advise them by showing the dangers and consequences of certain thinking and actions.
(7) Teens need to understand their full potential creatively. Gen 1:26-28. See also Gen 5:2 to understand the collective creative substance of man.
(8) Teens are testing their own adult control levels in dominance and subdue. Make them understand the dangers of shame and pride within them. Dominance and subdue mingled with pride in the heart, is the bullying beast within the teen and in human nature.
(9) Teens need to be stimulated in this transition period. They look for vents of stimulation’s, or higher levels of acceptableness, that satisfies and satiates their curiosities in this change. They may or may not understand this. They often find the wrong vents or stimuli in other misdirected teens and or adults, and end up with mixed and confusing action and emotions. Guidance and understanding in the teen cycle is very critical.
(10) Teens want to feel that they are right in conversations or their actions. This is because they are testing their adult wings of intelligence and dominance. They are in the process of leaving behind that childlike thinking of submission to parent and entering into the self dominance, of self choices and actions in the features of their own adult person.
(11) Teens can seem confused at times, because they are changing in their mind’s emotions and chemically (Hormones) all at the same time. The may seem to be having trouble understanding their purpose in life during this dangerous transition period. Some never leave this period and spend the rest of their life trying to adjust, but never seem to transform. This is only due to lack of understanding and training of the human nature, of the creative makeup.
(12) Teens have the need to group because!
1. They are resisting the authority that is questioning their adulthood.
2. They are not really sure about themselves, or they are not sure that they can fly in life on their own. Because of this they find the support of those they feel the most comfortable with or those that feel as they do. (Other teens—This makes them feel stronger and more in control. This is simply because all humans are basically powerless as an individual. The only natural force that is effective over any individual, is tools which are made by the hands of man Etc,(Weapons). These tools can never change the inner person, but only force the flesh to comply, by overpowering the strength of the individual and not the will of the person. The other fact is that when people come together in numbers they feel the strength of the populace or majority, that can out weigh the strength of the few or and an individual.)
(13) Teens want to be trusted in their judgments. Give them a chance with careful monitoring through your wisdom in parenting.
(14) Teens can have evil and wild imaginations, that need to be harnessed and addressed through understanding. See Gen 8:21.
(15) Teens have good imaginations that need to be nurtured, and nourished.
(16) Teens do not want to feel that their parents or guardians are ganging up on them. If they feel this they will resist( This is active in the human nature in all humans.) and you will loose both their trust and confidence they have in you. They will then turn to others that will support their mixed emotions. Understand this of your teen.
(17) Teens have over anxious pride and shame levels, that need to be addressed and understood about them, and addressed with much caution of wisdom.
(18) Teens feel they are invincible, but do not realize how weak and venerable they really are. (Teach them about their weakness, then they can put all their effort in their strong features to overcome these weaknesses.)
(19) Teens need to be spiritually motivated and understand in how they function mind, body, soul and spirit, and how the minds emotions can trick and or control their lives. Understanding our natural created order and failures helps us better to understand the problems we face and the challenges that come to us. (Negative or positive)
(20) Teens need to feel they have a purpose, because up until this point in life before their transition, their purpose was mostly fun and games playing as children do. (We should never cumber a child with the mind or actions of an adult, this is confusing for them and sometimes to them. They need time to mature naturally and at their own speed and growing cycle time.) Every adult under normal circumstances feels, wants or can see they have purpose. Teens have the same feeling now that the adult mind is engaging in them. The actions of this transition period for your teen is as such.
One day your child is submitting, playing and having fun and the next day they are resisting you and experiencing a mind of their own. If you parents find this hard for you with them, or understanding this about them, what do you think your child is going through during this transition of minds emotions, chemicals and physical changes within them. It’s with great and dramatic difficulties for them, without understanding fully.
(21) Teens do not want to be controlled by adults just accepted because they feel that they are adults also, that control their own person, know this parent of your teen. Parents you need to give your teen respect, trust and self empowerment, so they can find their own way.
(Teens you must show that you can be trusted and show some measure responsibility. If you do this, the tether of your Parent, will be loosened for you, giving you unsupervised freedoms.) Parents at this point you need to give advice not orders, love and understanding not control of will. If you the parent resist your teens adulthood, they will only resist you in return(It is human nature to resist against our own dominance being questioned by another!). You will lose them to other misdirected teens and or adults that will feed their needs of acceptance and the confusions that drives them as teens. Befriending them at this point is your best option!
(22) Teens ( And some adults) have a tendency to degrade, belittle and talk condescending to others, to make self feel superior. This comes from the created laws of dominance and subdue (Gen 1:26,28) naturally in humans, pushed by the pride of the heart, that causes humans to direct attention to self, as if somehow better than others. This excessive pride of the heart in teens, comes out in more destructive ways of the sinful nature in the teen cycle. It is greatly magnified by the new adult mind, by virtue of leaving behind the childlike submissive mind that is departing from them.
(23) Teens do not realize and or understand the war raging on inside, in their being between good and evil, manipulated by pride and shame fueled by the frustrations of failures in self disappointments. Add to this the addition of knowledge of good and evil, that drives the natural laws and the desires for personal perfection. This is all a dangerous recipe for self destruction and self disaster by the drive of the carnal flesh.
It is at this point in life, at about thirteen in the teen cycle and level, that an individual becomes more conscious through knowledge of the evil within. This is where the age of accountability comes into play in the teens life. (There is no set age, all children mature at different levels in life. We cannot put a assigned number to the age because all are different.) It is at this point in life that pride blossoms to its peak levels in teens years, but simmers down later for most. This pride blossom, produces fruit of confusion and misdirection in the teen, that does not understand or know about this often destructive teen cycle.
(24) Most importantly teens need to feel loved, respected and accepted. It is very interesting how some parents and society can push teens aside then wonder why they have rebelled or are rebellious. (I my self put the blame squarely of the so called religious leaders, because they have lost the family values that once filled society as my mother and her parents taught me. Such old heads are mostly gone and the family value and structure that once was the bench mark of society has been lost to personal foolishness.)
Note: The lack of the understanding of excessive pride and or shame in a person, can trigger or increase anger levels to a dangerous level by the strength of frustrations. This may cause a teen to go to extreme levels of low self esteem or high levels of aggressive pride, that are both self destructive and or destructive too others by them..
Teens can be supercharged with these destructive emotions, and have great difficulties balancing their emotions. A teen can go from submissive child to controlling, dominating adult with no sign or warning. This adolescence period is the time through proper training and knowledge, that and when they should be learning how to balance their emotions, that come in this transition period. Again I blame the leaders of religions, who seemed to be more interested in personal gain and personal agendas, then the family of God and its structure that was the first symbol of unity. See Eph 4:2,3.
(25) Keep in mind parent, that you are not loosing your little child but gaining a new adult to your family. That little child you thought you lost is still in there buried under the new adult you have acquired. There will be times that the childlike nature will show itself in them and you will think to yourself, that’s my baby I see and miss. Another thing you parents have to look forward to is the baby you lost will in time bring home babies to you. The nice beauty about this is when you get tired of your new family, given to you by your children, you can send them home to their parents and they can deal with them.
(26) As your child grows and matures, treat them as a friend, so that they can find trust in you, not as your little child.
You parents must understand (Although it may be hard for you to release your child unto their adulthood.) and learn how to let them
go and then you can gain a new friend in them. Learn as parents not to force your will on your new adult child friend. They will always be your baby but now in an adult body with an adult mind.
Remember parents that now that your child is an adult, they will think as an adult and eventually put away childish things. (This includes the childlike submission they once had unto you. Accept this in them. Do not resist them, but reassure them you have become a parent friend to them, that still loves them and will always have their best interest at heart.)
Because of lack of or improper training a teen’s supercharged emotions will overreact in each emotion of, pride and or shame, simply because they do not know when to or how to balance their newly found levels of dominance and subdue with pride and shame. They have lost their innocence in trust of parents control, unto the self dominating mind of the adult. Pride and shame are already present in them, but now becomes amplified by this adult mind engagement, by using the forces the dominate and subduing features in the adult mind. The dominate and subduing features were held at bay in your child, by the child mind of submission and imaginative fun and playing, that are in the innocent young child nature
Teens Do not loose your inner innocence in faith and trust, but remain strong in your inner man and learn how to trust the God of mercy and glory. In your affairs be an adult, but in your heart by faith, remain a child and trust God to get you through!
Jesus said you must become as a child in your trust unto him, as a very young child would be that is dependent upon the parent. Simply because little children are not cumbered with the affairs of an adult. They are more accepting of that to which they do not understand, but trust the judgment of their parent. This is what God requires of us the redeemed. Our children’s thinking should not be clouded with the stresses and frustrations that excessive pride and shame bring to the emotions. A little child will believe the parent without questioning the parent. This is blind trust, but is the great faith that God desire of us for him. This is why Jesus left us with the thoughts of Matt 6:33,34, that we will and should seek God first in all things and allow him to supply all our needs.
*** Examples of extreme misdirected emotions… When a teen or an adult acts out of the pressures of frustration and hurts or kills, there are inner issue that must and or should have been addressed in them on a daily bases.
The reason they cannot seem to restrain themselves or do not seem to have remorse after their emotional outburst of rage, is, because of the mixer of (1)pride and or (2)shame working within, (3)mingled with dominance and (4)the desire to subdue, a (5)inner desire to reach self created perfection within self, (6)emotional feelings of grandeur, the (7)fleshes lust driven desires, moved by the (8)frustration of vanity, of god status, that brought them to this destructive level, by (9)God’s law of the curse on man in Gen 2:17 and 3:17, that was a result of Gen 3:6, unto 1John 2:16.
The destructiveness of pride and shame using the naturally created laws of dominance and subdue, pushes the frustration levels beyond the persons natural tolerance levels to the breaking point of no return, by the beastly evil monster that lives within the carnal flesh. Once this level of destructiveness is reached, the individual cannot turn back until the prideful beast within the flesh, has reached its levels of the extremes in the dominance of pride or shame (lose of willpower in self) unto frustration –>Rom 8:20 NIV translation). This causes this total sinful breakdown of the emotions in destructive disobedience. This is the action of the disobedient sin of the flesh in its fullest.
The feelings that come after someone has intentionally killed or harmed another, are caused by the fleshes pressure relief valve (In some this can be relief or satisfaction), from destructive pride within the flesh, that are from the pressures of the inner pain in the emotions(What ever that may be.), that drove them to this point. The remorseful feelings that are normally present are suppressed by the relief from the pressures of frustration, that caused the death or harm. This is how the evils of the flesh functions, Gen 5:12 and 8:21. Down the road after some passage of time, the remorse sets in after the flesh has had time to cool down the emotions, and the person thinks about their actions. By then it is too late the damage is done, what ever that may be. (There is no one person or any individual exempt, from this evil within, we all need Christ daily to save us from ourselves, in our self destructiveness (Psa 107:20), and the evil that lurks about within and stalks our soul, mind and spirits, to cause this disobedience in self, by our natural fleshes bodies, against another, or against God, that frustrate us to these levels. When you feel frustration raising within, run at that point away from what ever it is that is frustrating you.
(I purposely had to walk away from a woman I loved very dearly for her safety because she pushed my emotional buttons daily, and consistently by speaking condescendingly or negatively at me or about me. You thought you left me, but I had released my self from you long before that and let you go. I also realized that she acted this way because of her inner issues of weaknesses, of her failures that were pushed by her desires for control and to have more material gain. I feel the pain of loosing her but I must keep my inner peace at all cost. (Sorry girly now you know why, it was not because I did not love you, but I still love you girly. You are the only one I have ever called girly , so you know I am speaking to you here. You are safe now from me but not from your own weaknesses and self destructions and spiritual confusions I witnessed in you.)
Drugs that are given to teens (Some are very effective, some are not. CNN aired a program in Feb 2014 showing, that drugs given to people with these inner problems do not help over the long haul) to curb their over anxious emotions, do not address the real problem within, of shame and pride, dominance and subdue, good and evil and the soul and spirit that are trying to be free of frustration, that together all lead to the frustration that causes anger. This anger is the anger that leads to rage and can end up on the high side of hateful actions and or ambitions. The drugs are targeted to suppress certain overactive emotions that we think are the problems, like depressions or aggressive behaviors. (Depression is a result of this inner war of good and evil, and effects the entire human makeup with the emotions leading the charge, with depressive and or aggressions moods.) These drugs may seem to work for periods of time, then the individual crashes and burns in their negative destructive emotions again. These drugs often interfere with other emotions that should not be suppressed, such as mercy and compassion.. (This is not rocket science just good sound reasoning.)
The result of a person being pushed by someone or something, to their overburden levels in frustration in the flesh by pride and shame, will put their natural mercy and compassion levels out or range of their willpower. This causes negative actions within and without of the individual. Excessive pride and or shame can trigger first frustration, then anger, then rage, then hate for the person, that triggered these negative emotions. With very great and negative consequences as the final end.
Religious people seem to have the greater difficulty by virtue of the evil spirit, that wants to destroy anyone that names the name of Christ. When inner secrets of sinful desires are hidden, the individual will eventually succumb to the pressures of these sinful desires if Christ is not in total control daily in their life. The pressure of the flesh will overcome mercy and compassion and cause the individual to offend.
Example: You have a seemingly upright and faithful minister, priest, deacon etc, in a religious organization, that for years led an outer seemingly upright life. For many years they have been hiding this inner sinful flaw and secret, then gets caught molesting a child. The pressures of them resisting this fault in this inner war within, have become to great to bear, then he or she openly offends when the right situation or opportunity comes along. The pressures of their resisting this inner war, come to the point where they could no longer restrain this urge to molest. After they have been caught the response of the flesh is to run and hide or take their own life. This is because on one hand by their pride, they were trying to live a decent and upright life, and on the other hand in shame of failure they were harboring this sinful inner desire to offend.
(This is why Jesus said, that if you look upon a woman and lust you are guilty, the result is the above, and this will apply to any or all sin of the heart, if not kept in checked.)
The result of this inner desire and war, causes the frustration of the carnal flesh to release this sinful pressure of the inner beast they were holding back for years. This is another example of hidden frustrations, of not satisfying the hidden desires of the flesh, that when not harnessed by self willpower or ignored, then causes this inner war raging. Someone in this church has failed this individual in the teaching of true grace and the transforming power through the work of Christ, by the Spirits work of reconciliation. You must surrender up your whole will to God, keep your eyes on things above and stay at the throne of grace for mercy and fellowship with God, to overcome on a daily bases, every moment if necessary. You cannot overcome the beast within by your own fleshes strength, simply because humans really do not have true willpower. True willpower and free choice are different. This is a spiritual battle and you must understand this. (See substance of willpower for free choice and free willpower and discover the choices of this or that, that present difficulties to true willpower.)
What happens, or is allowed to happen inside an individuals created makeup as a whole can become internally explosive by virtue of this inner war. The pressures of this war effect the emotions, that become to great to bear for an individual. (A teen can be the biggest looser of this war, because their whole created future depends on how well they can balance their emotions and transit thorough adolescence.) The inner war front humans are on, is who you are creatively because of the split in you being, between your soul and spirit, and your carnal brain and lustful flesh. This split has its origin from out of Gen 2:17 unto Gen 3:6, unto 1John 2:16. This was God’s divine order, Rom 8:20 NIV by reason of him who hath subjected it, that causes Rom 7:9-25, and completes its coarse in Rom 8:5-8, by the choices unto the wilful desires and lust of the flesh.
The out come of this split in the human makeup, is, the flesh is finite but wants to live eternally (This desire for eternal life, is the desire of every carnal human) but cannot be obtained in the vain efforts used by the flesh to hope in such, to reach for that which the flesh can never obtain, eternal life. The outcome is, the flesh fights and struggles by deceptive measures, searching for eternal life through the beastly prideful monster of the flesh. But only finds the failures in frustrations of the emotions (Rom 8;20 NIV subject to frustration) and the failure of the mind through depression. The final decay of the body is the separation of the flesh (Split of corrupted flesh, from your soul being), from the soul and spirit at death. Even today on a TV Net Work hosted by James Woods and Closer to truth by Robert Lawrence Kuhn, there is vain talk of people (Wanting) attempting to live forever through science and researches accomplishments. These are the deceptive measure of the flesh used by Satan, in the hope that by this, it can live eternally. By this plan of the evil spirit, it thwarts God’s plan and purpose deceptively showing that God alone does not posses eternal life. Men will accept the deception of evil 2John 1:7 unto false hopes of mans ability and knowledge, but the end will be definite and final at God’s word and command.
The soul and spirit are eternal as God is, because they were issued from and are spoken from God’s Living Word, that gives life from God. This life cannot be destroyed, because it is life from him that is eternal God himself. God cannot destroy his life giving Word and Spirit, that was imparted to mankind, therefore the soul and spirit live eternally, but may not end up in God’s eternal presence, if corruption is found within them. Only that which has no, corruption or contamination unto disobedient rebellion, will end up with the perfect God of purity and glorious righteousness. (See Matt 5:2-12, For the will of God in your life that will grant you eternal fellowship in God’s presence.)
The explosiveness in this battle of your split natures coming together to fulfill the knowledge of good and evil within you, causes the same emotional effects that would (for the sake of this metaphor I will use to help you understand) happen if you touched and bridged together the negative and positive poles of a battery, using some type of bridge to make the contact. The desires inside your split nature are these two poles, however, your body is the wire and your emotions are the thickness of this wire, that has made contact with these two poles. At first the wire makes an arc at contact, then begins to heat up, finally it increases to the point of exploding the wire apart by heat. The pressures of these two poles coming together cause this repelling of forces and make a destructive explosive electrical charge. The wire cannot bear the force and heat of the electrical charge, because the voltage and amperage become to great for the wire to withstand. So it is with the knowledge of and the applications of good and evil within the whole human makeup. Humans cannot withstand through their own will powers desire, the pressures within caused by the forces of frustrations (Rom 2:20–>NIV… KJV–>Deu 4:24, Heb 12:29, causes the emotions to be on fire), through pride using the control of dominance or the shame of failure, of low self esteem, that brings about the breakdown of your makeup by good and evil. What occurs is the explosive and destructiveness of these two natures of good and evil engaging each other, by two opposing spirits (God Spirit and the evil spirit) pulling in different (Repelling each other) directions your split natures. This is why you must surrender up your entire will to God, to overcome and win this war, using the mind of Christ (Not yours),as your main front line battle tool and wearing the entire armour of God as protection Eph 6:10- 18. When God’s will is in full control, the battle within ends and the war ceases for you, because now you have given over your willpower to God, and he now leads the full charge of this spiritual battle. You do not have to fight, you only have to show up to the battle front (You must go through your trials) through and by faith, but God does the fighting. In and by this, he receives all the glory for your salvations work.
Php_4:19 But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Psa_46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
2Ch_20:15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
Exo_14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
The frustration that comes to an individual trying to maintain in their own strength, his or her uprightness in this battle of good and evil, will only end up at the breaking point of emotional failures, without Gods Spirit in full charge of your entire life. See Mark 12:30 and Luke 10:27.
We Humans are weak, and we must face the fact that we do not have the capacity in ourselves to break free and or overcome this inner war, because just when we think we have control we always end up failing somewhere down the road. Because of the things shown here in this article we fail ourselves and for the lack of teaching and proper understanding, the church in general has failed the true message of grace (John 3:16), of the salvation through Christ who has offered us reconciliation back to the FATHER.
In our failures, we the church have shown the world that there is no real difference between it and us. We are truly in the age of the Church of the Laodicean’s spoken of by Christ in Rev 3:14-22. But do not give up, because Christ’s hand of mercy is still out stretched in Rev 3:20,21.
To be Christ like and Christ minded today, is viewed in the context of the thinking of the world. This is to be politically correct in submission to the will of the pastors, church doctrines and or people, and not submissive to the Spirit of Christ through his ministry of reconciliation, back to the Father in restoration and renewal of your souls mind and soul’s spirit.
Back to crime (Against God or man).
The intent to commit a crime, leaves open a door to the possibility of the acts of negative consequences, that can lead to destruction or someones death. The intent of any transgression against God or another, will lead to a crime if not properly dealt with. The intent left unattended and not corrected, then makes one guilty by choice, of the unimpeded desires of the flesh, that will one day fulfill itself by, the fleshes lusty desires. This is because every human beyond the age of accountability (Especially going into the teen years) knows, has heard or seen evil and negative actions, that lead to serious consequences, especially in today’s world of real time media. To simply imply that one does not or did not intend to cause such negative actions, does not excuse one before God by such actions and desire on any grounds.
Rom_1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Even though there is grace, there is no excuse as some would teach, only a way out by God’s mercy through graces transforming power.
The drive in the human fleshy nature, will always lean toward the evil negative side of a weakness within, caused by sinful and disobedient pride of the flesh. In the human will and strength, evil always prevails. We must let go of our own strength and will, and depend on the trust in faith, in Christ’s strength for daily redemption through his work of reconciliation in us to overcome.
What is needed between the positive and the negative poles of a battery is a device that will spend or burn up this energy of the battery, without destruction or waste of energy, by bridging the two poles. Such as a motor and the components necessary to operate the vehicle, that will use and control the electrical charge in an efficient manner.
The job of the Holy Spirit through humble submission unto the work of Christ within, is to spend or burn off this negative energy in mankind (Frustrations turns to peace, which is the absence of war.) through righteous Spiritual desires. The emotions then become the wilful desire to surrender, and the spiritual motor begins to burn away these forces of frustration, that are negative and positive without waste of energy or destruction of any component (Your mind and emotions). Our body is the car, our emotions are the wires thicknesses that lead to the motor and the battery, Christ is the motor, and the Holy Spirit knows how to spend the energy of the Word of God (John 14:6) and send it to the motor without waste, and finally the truth of God is the battery that holds all the power needed to energize your car. The direction in which the car travels, is the direction in which your love for God is pointed. Mat_7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. If you stay on the strait and narrow you will not crash.
Pro_14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. If you stay or stray onto this road,
you will be a spiritual fatality.
God uses the Word we have stored in our hearts to pass us through the fires of temptations, that burn and purge away all the dross of our sinful nature. It becomes the work of Christ in us, that harness the energy and not our work. The burning away of the sinful desires (Dross) that rebel against (repel) God, is the prime objective of the work of Christ(1John 4:9). His mission in us, is to produce within our hearts Gold, Rev 3:18,19, Righteous desires. We enter his rest (state of quiet)) and cease to work at trying in our own strength to overcome evil by our freewill, thus ending the battle, to obtain inner peace (Absence of war within the innerman). Today in all religions and some Christian teaching, they lack the understanding and knowledge to teach Christ’s rest, peace and grace, and the true meaning of reconciliation in the work that Christ performs within. Some Christians today seek their own work in righteousness, and lack the strength to fulfill this need in self, of God for God’s righteousness, then wonder why they fail within themselves. They become like the children of Israel and fail to enter God’s rest in Christ. This becomes their undoing and turns into a struggle caused by frustrations within, that leads to failures. The more impatient we become through frustration, the more likely we are to offend and or be abusive to others and or ourselves. See Free choice and freewill that are different in the article Suicide Teens and Bullying. (See section called, Who Owns Pride.)
The substance of true willpower
The substance of true willpower is based and rooted in the will of God and not mans foolish selfish will. For only God can cause the will of his desires, to be that to which he wills, without question, opposition, permission of another, with no weaknesses of instabilities in his actions and judgments. The power of God’s will is confined to, the awesome and incredible power of his Word Rev 19:13 (Alpha and Omega). When God speaks his word of power becomes the laws of creation, and laws of his established order, that cannot be altered in judgments and or actions, by anyone or anything, in this world or other worlds to come, now or future.
God has the awesome ability to maintain His personal inner order and desires, without wavering in his desires to accomplish and fulfill his words and thoughts. There is no war of frustrations conflict inside of God, as there is in mankind. Only harmony in his righteous judgments and actions, that issue from his Word and Authority in His Love for the order and love of his laws ( Matt 22:37) and promises (John 3:16).
When one learns how to surrender to the will of God, the awesome work of reconciliation through Christ Jesus is enacted, to bring about amazing change in transformation, of the heart and soul of the individual. This is why Paul the apostle said I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.
This simply means that your will becomes God’s property and his will becomes the leading force of your desires. The power of God’s will becomes the awesome transforming power of your person, through his awesome Word of Truth(John 1:14, John 14:6), and the His Living Word becomes the guiding and gauging factor of your Spiritual success. Your selfish desires and lust, that were mistaken for willpower, become obsolete in the work of Christ within, because now you future is God’s will alone.
What man calls willpower (Which really is not) is based upon his desires greed and lust.
Case in point…When these inner forces of desires greed and lust, are deprived of their goals, the result is frustrations that show the lack of true willpower. (Very active in teens and religions.)
When we do not meet the wants of these inner desires of the flesh, we tumble out of control in our prideful selfish emotions. This is shown in the self demonstration of the lack of personal willpower. If one has something in ones life, that one cannot seem to overcome in a desire or lust, the result is uncontrollable emotions and or anxieties, that heighten the emotional frustrations of self. Again it shows, that man has no true willpower to control or overcome difficult personal trying obstacles in life, because mankind lacks true willpower.
A lustful, greedy desire of the flesh is not willpower, but sometime in certain situations is mistaken for willpower. When a persons flesh has a desire and sets all their energy and mind to achieve, accomplish or acquire this desire of the flesh, it is nothing more than the selfish desires of the flesh to fulfill the rampant lustful desires that are mistaken for willpower in mankind’s thinking. People spend all their lives acquiring material goods hoping to have a nest egg during retirement. In the end, unexpected death, or old age robs them of their health, to really enjoy this material gain, and then death hands it over to another to waste, which is all foolishness of vanity(Ecc 1:2). This is the mindset of mankind in his youth, when our strength is present, and we fail to think about the inconveniences of old age, death or what lies after death, because we have forgotten God in our youth. Teens Look up, and forget not the redeemer of your soul, and spirit. See Ecc 12:1.
The same person in a situation where stress and frustration comes into play, lacks the power of self will, stop and or shut down their negative emotions. True willpower is the ability to control your inner emotions and desires, and still maintain the righteous judgment in control of your actions, without wavering in your inner being negatively. Shutting down negative emotions and maintaining a healthy love for righteousness, truth and sound judgment, without becoming offensive or on the defensive in your actions, shows control of character of will through God’s love. All mankind has failed this test of willpower at some point, and this is why we need a saviour from our beastly monster within, to transform us on a daily bases into the image and likeness of our redeemer God. This is only achieved by God, in his character and given to those that have discovered the work of Christ, through redemption that transforms the sinful desires into the God like nature.
Mic_4:8 And thou, O tower (Christ) of the flock(Psa 80:1), the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion (When Adam lost, personal freewill to the strength of the curse of Gen 3:17.); the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem, ( Gal 4:26, Virgin Bride of Christ. He will marry his virgin and make desolate the whore, Rev 17:16-18.)
Mic_7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities (John 3:17); and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. See Gen 1:26,28 for dominion and subdue.
The true test of willpower for mankind is narrowed down to two scriptures. (1) ECC 12:13,14 (2) Josh 24:15.
Food for though…..Personal things in life are a matter of choice. However, everything else in life is a condition that may or may not effect those choices. Therefore, in all reality the true end product in life is narrowed down to one choice, and that is to submit to God’s will and live, this leaves mankind with one choice, summit and surrender.
Final Note On Willpower: True stable willpower with the fortitude to overcome or surpass emotional obstacles and breakdowns, only comes from and belong to God alone. This is because, all things consist of God’s will and for his will, without exception, since he is the author and finisher of all, Rom 9:21. (He is the Beginning and Ending, the First and Last, the Alpha and Omega.)
Without God as the center of mankind’s existence, mankind fails within self in his efforts to remain stable, at peace, at rest and in harmony in his personal emotions, by the force of frustrations action, by failures. It does not matter how small or how large mankind’s troubles are, he fails in his emotional efforts to remain sound and succeed. Emotional soundness of mind and integrity of character, is God’s alone and unattainable in mankind without God’s will in mans heart, and leading the desires of the soul spirit, mind and body.
True faith in God depends on how much one is trusting God, through God’s will and God’s strength of his Word of truth (Christ), to accomplish within the individual God’s promise of redemption, which then becomes the substance of the true willpower of the believer, by God‘s will!
The prideful acts of mankind and the destruction he has caused to both himself and created things, is a profound and terrifying testament to mans weak willpower. If the will of man was stable, complete and perfectly sound in harmony as God’s will is, the world would be an entirely different place in which to live. Mans willpower, as history has shown and at present, in mans reactions to God desires and mankind’s fellow man, is by an evil spiritual, mental disaster and nightmare of the spirit and soul of mankind. The carnal mans willpower will continue to spiritually spiral downward, away from God in mankind’s destructive emotional declines and actions, without the awesome will of God leading man and the transforming power of God’s Word of truth to guide man.
Those that have the true Spiritual depth and knowledge of Christ and God’s promises, laws and ordained order leading them, will gleam the greater Spiritual and mental befits and insight from these writings. Those that do not know or fully understand God, and his Christ, will not get the full depth of truth, but still can gleam helpful incite and learning by understanding the created order and misfortunes in the flesh. They can still benefit from these writings.
When reading and studying this, always remember that Christ came to take mans place as a!
